Derrick Alceus - President

Welcome, and thank you for taking the time to learn more about OT 1911 Inc.

As President, I am honored to serve an organization committed to creating meaningful opportunities for our youth. After retiring from a 20-year career in engineering, I transitioned into entrepreneurship as the owner of Martin County Roofing. While that journey has been rewarding, my true passion has always been rooted in service—particularly when it comes to mentoring and guiding the next generation.

At OT 1911 Inc., we are dedicated to opening doors for young people by providing access to mentorship, academic support, leadership development, and community involvement. We believe every young person deserves the chance to grow, develop, and reach their full potential when given the right guidance and opportunities.

In addition to my role here, I proudly serve as the Florida Region 2 Representative for Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., and as Vice Basileus of the local Treasure Coast Chapter - Omicron Tau. These roles further strengthen my commitment to uplifting our communities and investing in our youth.

I firmly believe that when we pour into our young people today, we build stronger, more vibrant communities for tomorrow. Thank you for being part of that mission with us.

— President, OT 1911 Inc.

Greetings!!

Born and raised in Fort Pierce, FL - I have witnessed firsthand both the challenges and the resilience that exist within our community and the surrounding areas we serve. Growing up here gave me a deep understanding of the importance of guidance, opportunity, and having a strong support system. I have personally experienced the positive impact that mentorship, educational support, and community involvement can have on the lives of both youth and adults.

These experiences are what fuel my passion for serving through OT 1911 Inc. I firmly believe that when individuals are encouraged, supported, and provided meaningful opportunities, entire communities are strengthened. The work being done through OT 1911 Inc. continues to create lasting change by promoting leadership, academic growth, volunteerism, and a true sense of unity among those we serve.

Our organization is more than a program. It is a commitment to building a stronger future by investing in people. I am proud to be part of an organization that continues to inspire hope, empower youth, and foster a culture of continuous growth and positive change throughout our communities.
